Brendan is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Eirsure, an innovative insurance brokerage redefining how businesses and individuals manage risk. With more than 30 years of leadership experience in banking and financial services, Brendan brings a unique blend of deep financial expertise and entrepreneurial vision to the insurance sector. Brendan has a well-defined background with vast experience within large banking institutions such as RBS, Santander & SMBC demonstrating exceptional knowledge of managing and practicing regulations, policies and procedures.
Under Brendan’s leadership, Eirsure has built a reputation for innovation, integrity and client-focused service—offering tailored insurance solutions that address both traditional and emerging risks. Brendan’s coverage in the financial sectors of areas such as Portfolio Management / Relationship Management / Credit Analysis / NBFI (Non-Bank Financial Institutions) / Corporate / Insurance / Real Estate / Hedge Funds / Public Sector / give him a great insight into numerous business sectors.
Brendan has worked in banking and insurance for over 30 years, 10 of those years based in London. Since Brendan has built a significant portfolio of pubs, coffee shops and hotels throughout Europe. These business are now managed by a professional 3rd party, so he can be dedicated 100% to success of Eirsure.

With over 30 years of experience in structured finance and credit risk management, he has honed his skills in risk management and insurance. Anthony has been instrumental in developing and implementing strategies that mitigate risk while maximizing returns, demonstrating a keen analytical mind-set that enables him to navigate complex financial scenarios and market risks effectively. His leadership capabilities are well-established, with a proven track record that spans multiple asset classes and investment strategies.

Neil Brady – MD Europe – APA, CIP, Diploma in Leadership & Management
Neil has over 20 years’ experience working for large corporate brokers, leaving Lockton in 2019 to setup ReSure Corporate brokers that was sold to NFP in 2022. Neil has experience working in all areas of insurance developing a strong senior managerial and sales background.
Neil has vision to see opportunities, with a proven track record in building successful schemes, teams and implementing company plans. Neil joined Eirsure in October 2024 and is looking forward to using his skill set in helping Eirsure become one of the largest independent brokers. Neil is responsible for shaping the European strategy—driving market entry, forging key partnerships and establishing the operational framework needed to support rapid expansion. Under Neil’s leadership, the European team focuses on delivering client-centric insurance and risk management services that meet the evolving needs of both established corporations and high-growth ventures.
Neil will analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify business opportunities for our clients. Neil has excellent relationships with key partners and stakeholders in the industry. A respected voice in the insurance and brokerage industry, Neil is known for combining deep market insight with a forward-looking approach to emerging risks. Rennie McConnochie MA (Hons) Edinburgh
Rennie has held a varied number of positions within the financial services industry. Initially trained as an oil analyst at Wood Mackenzie in 1985 before joining Smith New Court in 1988. Rennie ultimately ran UK equity distribution and after SNC was acquired by Merrill Lynch Rennie went on to run the European equity business, and then equity research in the region. Rennie joined Bridgewell in 2004, and Iater became CEO. He then joined RP Capital, the emerging markets hedge fund and advisory specialist, in July 2007 and left in July 2011. Rennie then joined Aberdeen Asset Management to look after senior client relationships in New York. After 7.5 years in NY, Rennie moved to the UK with Aberdeen as global head of Key Client Relationships with the firm.
Rennie joined Eirsure in as the MD in the UK, with a proven track record in strategic growth, operational excellence, and client-centric innovation, Rennie plays a pivotal role in positioning the firm as a trusted partner for corporations and high-net-worth clients. Rennie successfully leads teams across complex insurance markets, driving initiatives that enhancing client value, streamline operations and expanding product offerings.
